FaceIDS

FaceIDS logo

Identity checks should take a glance, not a card or a password. FaceIDS by TAD Industries recognizes faces, silhouettes, vehicles and license plates in real time. I worked on the Flutter side: identification and access-control apps connected to biometric terminals and hardware.

Built to work in production

TAD Industries’ multi-object video analytics and biometric identification platform for faces, silhouettes, vehicles and license plates — I built the Flutter apps for identification and access control.

Problem

Airports, government institutions and businesses need to verify people and control access quickly and reliably — without cards, passwords or manual checks.

Approach

Flutter apps talking to native Android/iOS components and hardware SDKs through Method Channels, combining Face ID, fingerprint scanners, NFC and QR codes with stable background processes and real-time data sync.

Outcome

According to TAD Industries, FaceIDS runs in Uzbekistan’s airports, at Uzaeronavigation for dispatcher monitoring, at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and in Central Bank solutions for biometric checks in mobile banking.

Features

What the app does

Face recognition

1:1 verification against a reference photo and 1:N search across large databases.

Access control

Identification with Face ID, fingerprint scanners, NFC and QR codes on terminals.

Silhouettes & vehicles

Re-identification of people by silhouette, and vehicles by type, color, brand and plate.

Attributes & emotions

Age, gender, glasses, mask, beard and emotions detected in real time.

Hardware integration

Biometric terminals and external identification devices connected via Method Channels.

Real-time events

Instant events and data sync from connected cameras and devices.
